In February, Megan Thee Stallion made her Broadway debut, playing the role of the Zidler in the long-running show Moulin Rouge! The Musical. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megan fell ill in the middle of Tuesday night's performance, and she was taken to an area hospital.
Megan's spokesman Didier Morais tells The Hollywood Reporter, "During Tuesday night’s production, Megan started feeling very ill and was promptly transported to a local hospital, where her symptoms are currently being evaluated. We will share additional updates as more information becomes available." At 9:29PM, Megan's friend and hairstylist Kellon Deryck tweeted, "Everyone say a prayer for Megan, we are all at the hospital."
The Breakfast Club host Loren Lorosa was at last night's show, and she tweeted that the performance stopped mid-show, with security asking the audience to "stay inside and seated." Later, the show continued, with a male performer standing in for Megan.

Megan The Stallion is the first woman to play the role of the Zidier in the Broadway jukebox musical. Original performer Danny Burstein won a Tony for Moulin Rouge!, and celebrities like Boy George, Wayne Brady, and Bob The Drag Queen have filled the role in recent years. As part of the show, Megan has been performing her songs "Savage" and "Body." It's extremely rare for a Broadway performer to leave in the middle of a show, so this seems serious.
UPDATE: Megan's rep Didier Morais responded to our inquiry, letting us know that Megan has been discharged from the hospital and that she plans to return to the Broadway stage tomorrow night. Here's the statement:
On Tuesday evening, Megan was transported to a local hospital to undergo a medical evaluation after experiencing concerning symptoms.
Doctors ultimately identified extreme exhaustion, dehydration, vasoconstriction and low metabolic levels as the cause of her symptoms. Megan has since been treated, discharged and is now resting.
Megan is incredibly grateful for the prayers and well-wishes from her supporters and is looking forward to resuming her role as Zidler on Moulin Rouge on Thursday.
