In 2024 — a couple of years after she likened Alex Jones’ Sandy Hook conspiracy theories to celebrities advocating for COVID vaccination — M.I.A. appeared on Jones’ show Infowars to promote Ohmni, her line of clothing which she claimed blocked 5G. Today the artist has announced her first album since then: M.I.7, which is out in just a couple of weeks. Along with the news, M.I.A. has shared the single "Everything" along with a second launch of Ohmni, which now blocks 10G.
M.I.7 is M.I.A.'s seventh studio album, and comprises "seven songs, written in seven places, over seven days." It's being loosely described as M.I.A.'s "gospel" album, and sure enough, it features backing vocals from fellow provocateur Kanye West's Sunday Service Choir. On "Everything," she sings some vaguely evangelical platitudes like, "No, I won't live in sorrow/ Money I won't borrow/ I will be blessed in all of my tomorrow."
As for the new Ohmni drop, here's what M.I.A. has to say in a statement:

OHMNI IN THAT TIME WE HAVE STEPPED UP OUR PROTECTION FABRICS TO A NEW LEVEL. OUR LIGHT WEIGHT COPPER 5G MESH IS NOW STRENGTHENED TO OFFER PROTECTION AGAINST 10G. OUR BAGS FABRICS HAVE ALSO RECEIVED AN UPGRADE AND OFFER PROTECTION AGAINST ADVANCED WIFI AND CELL TOWER STRENGTH. WITH OHMNI ON US, SO THEY DON’T OWN US.
