Anitta appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live last night, making her the first ever Brazilian artist to do so. The Rio-born singer performed "Várias Quejas" and the newly-released single "Choka Choka" from her album Equilibrium, which is out this coming Friday. The studio version of "Choka Choka" is a duet with Shakira, who did not appear during Anitta's SNL performances, but you can watch/listen to both versions below.
Otherwise, last night's SNL was pretty light on the music: Colin Jost reprised his role as Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, whose ringtone is canonically Smash Mouth's "All Star." In a bit that was cut for time, "Jack Harlow" (Ben Marshall) stopped by Weekend Update to discuss his Monica era and how he got Blacker.
