It's happening: Boards Of Canada finally have a new album coming out. Today the Scottish IDM legends announced that Inferno, their follow-up to 2013's Tomorrow's Harvest, will arrive in just over a month. As of now, there's no full single out yet, but you can hear a snippet of what's to come in a 42-second trailer released today.
Boards Of Canada built up excitement for the new release earlier this month by sending mysterious VHS tapes to fans, which contained some pretty indiscernible audio and video. A few days later, they released a piece of audio titled "Tape 05," although it's unclear if that was a portion of a longer song or an entire song in itself.
