Harry Styles Team Addresses Fan Complaints About Obstructed Views

Following a special one-off Manchester gig in March, Harry Styles has officially commenced his tour in support of his recent album Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally. So far he's played two nights in Amsterdam, with setlists that include almost all of his new songs, a decent selection of his old songs, and little nods to Talking Heads, Underworld, and Paul Simon. But the setlist isn't what's been getting people talking about Styles' tour; his stage setup is.

Styles' stage setup extends into a rectangle-shaped catwalk with four bridges for concert attendees to pass under. That's no problem if you're in the stadium seats, but for fans who paid hundreds of euros for GA tickets and spent hours queuing outside the venue, they're being met with some pretty severely obstructed views at certain points of the set. Those fans have taken to TikTok en masse to complain, and now, Styles' team is apparently "reviewing" those complaints so they can "adjust" the catwalks accordingly.

"The floor concept was designed to give fans freedom of movement and the ability to experience the show from different positions, rather than being confined to one fixed viewing angle," a rep told TMZ. "That open, free-flowing floor experience has always been an essential part of Harry’s live shows. A small area of the staging in specific floor positions appears to have had a restricted sightline. Those areas are being reviewed carefully and adjusted where possible in compliance with all safety restrictions."

Fans are especially frustrated considering Styles is doing a series of residencies rather than a city-by-city tour, including 30 nights at Madison Square Garden. Leading up to Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally's release, he talked about feeling inspired by being an audience member seeing artists like LCD Soundsystem and Radiohead, and argued that staying put during residencies allows him to put on better shows. Interesting!

The audience has weighed in. See some TikToks highlighting the bad sightlines below.
