Sweeping Promises are back. Our 2021 Band To Watch is announcing their third LP You Say I Romanticize, which follows 2023's Good Living Is Coming For You. The lead single and album opener "Shooting Shadows" is here now.
The Sub Pop duo recorded the 10 tracks that make up You Say I Romanticize over an 18-month period. Caufield Schnug and Lira Mondal invited touring drummer Spenser Gralla into the studio for the songs. "Shooting Shadows" is a post-punk riot with an audacious bassline.
