We never go long without a new Ty Segall release announcement, and last month we got two at once. Segall, the rock 'n' roll living legend, will release his new album Chrome next month. On the same day, he'll put out the new two-song EP Love Fuzzz.
Today he follows up lead single "Black Paint" with "Running To Nowhere." Whereas the former was a high-flying classic rocker with harmonies to spare, the latter is harder and heavier, powered by gnarly low-end riffs and haunted by amelodic howls. They certainly make room for some prettiness in there, though. The man and his band continue to rock.
Hear "Running To Nowhere" below.
Chrome and Love Fuzzz are out 8/28 on Drag City, and you can buy them.
