Jam City Announces New Album My World: Hear The Title Track

10:17 AM EDT on July 30, 2026

Way back in 1991, Guns N' Roses ended Use Your Illusion II with "My World," a quasi-rap freakout that only lasted a minute and a half before dissolving into sex noises and chaos. The beat kind of sounded like "Army Of Me," but four years before that song came out. Most Guns N' Roses fans hate it. Guns N' Roses "My World" probably doesn't have anything to do with UK producer Jam City's new song "My World" or his decision to use it as the title track on his upcoming album, but it's the first thing I thought of.

Jam City is Jack Chatham, a club futurist with almost two decades in the game. He has collaborated with people like Kelela, Troye Sivan, and Lil Yachty, and he co-produced one of the songs on Olivia Rodrigo's first album. He also makes really cool records on his own. Today, Jam City announced plans to follow 2023's Jam City Presents EFM with the new album My World, and he dropped the opening title track.

My World doesn't feature either "star 2" or "angels," the two songs that he released last Christmas. It does have a bunch of collaborators. The London singer Aidan is on multiple songs, including the title track; she previously appeared on a lot of Jam City Presents EFN. "My World" also features London MC Bawo and someone called Ox Eye. It's a funky, slinky, dreamy groove, one that holds back enough to sound extremely cool. It makes me feel like I'm sitting on a boat in the Mediterranean and I'm rich as fuck. Check it out below.
