Last year, The Ecuadorian-born, Brooklyn-based dream-pop artist Maria Usbeck returned from a long absence with Naturaleza, her first new album in six years. Yesterday, she announced plans to follow that record with Canciones De Amor, a new EP that she recorded with a team of musicians that includes Wild Nothing's Jack Tatum. Opening track "Luz" is a lovely, sparking number that combines mellow, floaty jazz tones with lush, expensive-sounding synthpop. Check it out below.
