It's not easy being a performer these days. They have to worry about concertgoers shitting on the floor or throwing projectiles at them. On Thursday (Aug. 6), Billy Strings was playing a show in Fishers, Indiana, when he became the victim of a very skilled pitcher. He was in the middle of speaking when an object hit him in the head. That was the first of three nights that the folk/bluegrass musician was doing at the Fishers Event Center, so last night he returned with protective headgear.
Strings had been (understandably) upset upon getting pelted with the object, backtracking on his previous excitement about making it to Fishers: "Oh, what the hell, man? Maybe not! Maybe I shouldn't be back! You know, why the fuck would you throw something at me? Is your dick really that small? I was just gettin' ready to say how much I'm happy to be here, I love you guys, and all this shit, and you throw somethin', it hits me right in the fuckin' head! Find out who that was and sodomize him, please!"
It's still unknown what the object was, but some are saying it was a lighter. A new video of the incident has emerged, which you can watch below along with a clip of Strings taking the stage in his protective headgear.
