Insane Clown Posse's annual Gathering Of The Juggalos festival is set to start today in beautiful Macks Creek, Missouri. ICP lead a lineup that includes Freedom 250 talent Vanilla Ice and Milli Vanilli, as well as Tech N9ne, Hatebreed, Sarah Sherman, DJ Paul, and the Pharcyde. I bet it'll be fun as fuck. Unfortunately, though, the Gathering will have to go down without Bluntman's One-Stop Shop in the Merch Bizzar, since Bluntman was arrested and charged with drug trafficking on the way to the Gathering. Free Bluntman!
Ozarks First reports that police in Osage Beach, Missouri arrested the 45-year-old Easton, Pennsylvania resident Kevin Michael Jones on Monday. Jones, often known as Bluntman, has been charged with two felonies, first-degree drug trafficking and delivery of a controlled substance. Police claim that he had "more than 130 pounds of marijuana and psilocybin products" in his camper.
Police claim that they had probable cause to search Jones' camper van after a K-9 unit smelled drugs in the vehicle — yeah, I bet — and also because of the advertisements for his weed shop on the festival website. According to the cops, Jones was pulled over over after his camper failed to stay in its lane multiple times on Monday. In addition to the weed and psilocybin products, police say that they confiscated signs reading "Weed 4 Sale" and "Flower For Sale." Bluntman is being held without bond.
Recreational marijuana use is legal in Missouri, but I guess it's not legal like that. Festival acts like Sarah Sherman will have to procure their weed elsewhere.
