Forty-six years after his death, John Lennon is now a grandfather. Sean Ono Lennon, the son of Lennon and Yoko Ono, recently announced the birth of his son Aurelius. Sean Ono Lennon and his partner Charlotte Kemp Muhl play together in the band the Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger, and they shared a series of Instagram posts of themselves with their new baby.
Yoko Ono already has two grandchildren through Kyoko Chan Cox, the daughter that she had with her second husband Anthony Cox. Julian Lennon, John's other son, has no children. In a recent interview, CBS News asked Sean Ono Lennon if he's the "custodian" of his father's legacy, and he replied, "Yeah, technically, but obviously the world is also the custodian of his legacy, I would say. I'm just doing my best to help make sure that the younger generation doesn't forget about the Beatles and John and Yoko."
