Slow Pulp's highly anticipated Yard followup Melodie comes out in exactly two weeks. So far the Chicago indie rock crew has shared "Better Man," "Not For Nothing," and "Spill," and today they're debuting two new tracks on The Adam Friedland Show.
For TAFS Unplugged, the band performed an acoustic version of "Better Man," as well as the unreleased songs "Yellow And Green" and "Slip Away." The former serves as the Melodie opener and a shoutout to the Green Bay Packers, whereas the latter is the finale, about which Henry Stoehr says, "I was in my early 20s and out of control and alienating myself, and I was walking to the Ace Hardware in Madison and saw a couple of people I used to know and then saw them ignore me."
