Earlier this year, Party Dozen prepared for a tour with Amyl And The Sniffers with "Special Unit," the kind of rowdy anthem that the Amyl And The Sniffers fans probably loved. The Australian drum and saxophone duo is announcing their new album 21 Bum Salute today, and the new single "Euro Stomper" is another uninhibited banger.
"The jams for this song were extended," Kirsty Tickle and Jonathan Boulet explain. "We could play this forever. With an undercurrent of 'raised eyebrow' or 'shrug' this one turns into a glorious stomping anthem. Perfect for the chronic submissive. Wash your hands and be rid of it all. Apologies to my niece for the film clip."
The band recorded, mixed, and mastered 21 Bum Salute themselves. "We're having more fun than we've ever had before," Tickle says. "This album is kind of putting a middle finger up and waving at someone with a smile at the same time. We're egging you on to have a good time."
