John Errol – “Like It Like That”

John Errol's new album Damage arrives at the end of the month. The LA musician has us hooked with "Float" and "Shifting Sands," the latter of which made our list of the 5 best songs of the week. Today's "Like It Like That," though, is his best track yet.

"This one is for my fellow weak, dependent men," Errol explains of the song. "I'm all or nothing. I'll eat all the candy until I'm sick, and there's nothing healthy or measured in how I love either. I'll skip work, drain my bank account, kiss family and friends goodbye, and erase myself entirely in the name of someone else. And I really do like it like that."

"Like It Like That" is a smoky earworm that he says is "suitable for limerence, crushes, self-annihilation etc." Sonically, it encompasses the feeling of a day in the sun that's both lazy and intense, blurry but bright. Errol also just announced some shows opening for Nirosta Steel in California later this year. Check those out below along with "Like It Like That."

TOUR DATES:
11/05 — Los Angeles @ The Silverlake Lounge
12/04 — San Francisco @ The Independent *
