When up-and-coming alt-pop singer Lamb announced her debut EP and tour earlier this year, fans of the now-defunct Manchester trip-hop duo Lamb were a bit confused. The latter released statements clarifying that they were not reuniting, attempting to get in touch with the other Lamb to resolve the issue, and thanking us for posting about the mix-up. You're welcome, Lamb!
Apparently, it worked, because Lamb the singer is now quietly rebranding as Lambb with an extra B. Although she released her previous single "TALK," which got a big boost when Jungkook of BTS used it in an Instagram post, under her original name last month, she's gradually been rolling out the new spelling on various platforms since then.
Today, Lambb is announcing a new EP called There's Someone In The Yard and releasing her first official song as Lambb. You can listen to "OBSESSION," a dark electronic pop track, and watch its accompanying music video below.
There's Someone In The Yard is out 11/20 via Warner.
