We're a few days away from UK club-pop experimenter Shygirl releasing new new album Swallow!, and we've already posted her singles "Alyse," "Lucky (Hymn)," and "Mantra." Yesterday, Shygirl shared one more advance single, and it's the final track on the album. "Eternal" is a spacey, pretty track that recalls the more psychedelic variations on trip-hop that showed up in a lot of car commercials around the end of the '90s. I mean that in the good way.
Shygirl co-produced "Eternal" with Casey MQ, Dahi, Ely Rise, and Karma Kid. It's a woozy, pretty cascade of breakbeats, strings, and floaty upper-register vocals, and it moves away from the more anthemic dance stuff that Shygirl often makes. Along with the track, Shygirl has unveiled plans for a spring tour that'll take her across North America and Europe. Check out "Eternal" and those dates below.
