Wounded Lion is a ragtag pride of Los Angeles "post-garage" rockers -- they remind me of King Kong, Some Velvet Sidewalk, Modern Lovers (or more recently Gun Outfit) with their fuzzed-out and playfully upbeat punkisms. Their self-titled In The Red full-length debut's out next month. Take a listen to "Creatures In The Cave," a song that floated around on a 7" in "Ballad" form a ways back.
