So far Mew's No More Stories... videos have been ambitious, well-shot, and gleefully nonsensical. The first was the woodsy laser-beamed exploits of "Introducing Palace Players." Then came the Robert Altman-meets-Alfred Hitchcock-meets-Dogme 95 Danish cinema of "Repeaterbeater." This Martin DeThurah, Adam Hashemi and Lasse Martinussen-directed clip for "Beach" features a pack of kids, their spinning dreammachine, a projected fantasy universe, and a more easily parsed narrative (feat. a singing mountain).
