When we posted Male Bonding's Lou Reed cover with Vivian Girls, we also suggested you check out "Year's Not Long," the opener from the scrappy UK trio's perfect-for-summer Sub Pop debut Nothing Hurts. You can dig a bit deeper with "Franklin," one of their mellower moments. Outside Vivian Girls, they associate with folks like Graffiti Island, Pens, Dum Dum Girls, Mika Miko (RIP), and have covered Flipper. All of which should give you a sense of their aesthetic.
