On 10/6, we got a media rich press release from CBS about K-Fed's 10/12 CSI cameo...
Please feel free to share this news with your web visitors, along with the attached photo and clip.

So, we uploaded the clip to YouTube. That's the best way to share a clip with "web visitors," right? We've never even watched an episode of CSI, but we do like to make fun of Kevin Federline!
One week later we got this e-mail from YouTube:
Dear Member:
This is to notify you that we have removed or disabled access to the following material as a result of a third-party notification by CBS Broadcasting, Inc claiming that this material is infringing:
Kevin Federline On CSI: https://youtube.com/watch?v=ZWCzEcQBg9A
The day after the premiere, CBS decided to take back that one minute promo clip they gave to all the blogs.
We know copyrights are tricky in Web 2.0, but of all things, this was Stereogum's FIRST YouTube slap on the wrist! For a clip the copyright holder gave us with instructions to "share"? It just seems egregious. Not to mention pointless -- the entire episode is on SueTube!
Is this part of Viacom's YouTube crackdown? Or did CBS belatedly realize how bad an actor K-Fed is?
You disappoint us, CBS. We're never watching Survivor: Jim Crow Island again!
Speaking of Kevin Federline and smackdowns, thanks reader Robert for this tip:
WWE Monday Night RAW, the characters of Melina and Johnny Nitro will bring out a celebrity guest. This guest will be none other than Stereogum's favorite whipping boy, Kevin Federline. K-Fed will be rapped out and F-Ued by John Cena.
Look for it on YouTube tomorrow morning! Preview clip here.
