The Scissor Sisters used a 1980 Robert Mapplethorpe photo of dancer Peter Reed's clenched ass for the cover of their Stuart Price-produced third studio album Night Work. The image says a lot about the group's retro-Downtown in-your-face (and, sure, "greatest, gayest") aesthetic, as does disco-dramatic "Invisible Light" (complete with Sir Ian McKellan narration) and anthemic, lighter-raising Elton John-esque first single "Fire With Fire." This Digital Dogs "Fire With Fire" remix abbreviates the original's dramatic upswing, but keeps the nightclub crowded by adding a layer of fuzzed percussion and removing some of the piano-man vibe.
