Clinic promised a move away from their well-established sound on upcoming album Bubblegum. "I'm Aware" is still pretty surprising though: Soft-edged vocals from singer Ade Blackburn, sighing strings, and exactly 100% less tension. They've still got the masks. But from this first single, it sounds like a whole new band.
