Usually we just go for a tortured pun in the headline to these late night talk show artist performances, but this one has a modicum of truth to it; Dave was demonstrably impressed with Mr. Bird's run through "Fitz & Dizzyspells" last night. He even threw it over to Paul for corroboration, so congrats on that Dr. Stringz. On stage with a full band including rhythmic ace-in-the-hole Martin Dosh and old-timey ace-in-the-hole Rotating Gramophone Speakers, Mr. Bird likely whistled and soldiered on his way into the hearts of a couple more skinny girls with glasses here.
