"Carolina," a new track by BTW Safe, aka Missoula-to-Berkeley "goat enthusiast" CF Edley, "may or may not be a nod to Shaggy's song 'Oh Carolina.'" (Sounds like it.) We also know that to record it, Edley "found a new studio with bigger machines." Which is in line with nods to Shaggy (albeit, via Arthur Russell). No word on an exact release right now, but look for a 2011 follow-up to the self-titled Laser Cave/Greedhead cassette he put out earlier this year. He's definitely more center-of-the-room vocal on "Carolina" than the more whispered songs we posted previously.
