On the heels of Captured Tracks head Mike Sniper's Phrases EP, "Northern Islands" is the first taste of his one-man BTW's forthcoming Land And Fixed. It's cheerier than Blank Dogs' usual danceable claustrophobia. Maybe because Captured Tracks is having such a good year.
