Onetime Titus Andronicus member and current Underwater Peoples associate/GBV fan Andrew Cedermark wrote the harmonica-infused ramble "Still Life With Sour Mash" for issue 15 of Esopus after the magazine asked him and other musicians to come up with songs "inspired by specific TV programs." Stephin Merritt opted for Meerkat Manor, Cloud Nothings The Golden Girls, and etc. If you're not one to read between lines or pick-up on sampled frequencies, this one started with M*A*S*H, a show that's always bummed me out for some reason.
