Another nominee for workaholic of the year, or of next year: Matthew Friedberger. He'll be releasing six solo LPs next year, each featuring a single instrument, via subscription service. The first, called Napoleonette, will arrive in January, with a new one arriving every two months after that. The last two will arrive with two bonus albums featuring Friedberger and a guest, according to Thrill Jockey (so that's eight albums total). Have a listen to "Shirley" the first from his piano LP:
