Remixer Phones has got a thing for that Ian Curtis sound. Or so shall we extrapolate from his decision to touch-up singles by Editors and Interpol within a half-year stretch. "The Heinrich Maneuver" gets some vocodered "Dance!" shouts, Justice synths, and tinkling piano at the fore for an extended intro, before Phones breaks out the Banks. Our Love To Admire was a topic of discussion at P4K this weekend -- some disappointed, some indifferent, but most in love with "Heinrich." To that latter set: Have a listen at Interpol's MySpace.
