Doing for underground hip-hop what Run-DMC and Aerosmith, the Judgement Night soundtrack and Zach Galifianakis and the Bonny one did for the aboveground stuff, encyclopedic spitter Aesop Rock goes full force with encyclopedic strummer John Darnielle to talk "Coffee"(as if either needed any). This one's mostly Aesop, which has us wondering what would happen if roles switched a bit, and they took on some staccato spitting from the Mountain Goats' catalogue ("Woke Up New," or selections from the "Going To..." series, anyone?).
