Augie March Do Craig Ferguson For “One Crowded Hour”

Been none too shy about our love for Aussie/Kiwi literate pop-noir rockers Augie March (and their stellar sophomore release Moo, You Bloody Choir) around here, and last week the band got to flex its Saul Bellows-indebted dynamics for a national audience on Craig Ferguson's show (a questionably sized national audience as it was, after all, Craig Ferguson ... but still). Glenn's Grant-Lee tenor is, as always, Augie's anchor, but "One Crowded Hour" kills on multiple levels. Sadly missing the gospel choir background vocals, but Ferguson's "moo" trigger (what?) is punctuation enough.
