It was directed by, yes, Kanye West videomaker ("Welcome to Heartbreak," "Champion," etc) Nabil Elderkin with special effects by weirdcore. It's a lot of Mr. Hudson. And many, so many tears. All kidding aside, the video fits the song well. All kidding also aside, Chris Martin wants his teardrops back.
