Los Angeles Smashing Pumpkins devotees Silversun Pickups are back with a new album (still streaming), video, and slate of festival appearances for the quickly coming summer. There are sure to be more dates announced, but for now their only scheduled club appearance went down last night, ostensibly a tune up for their set at Coachella later this week. The LA-heavy lineup last night also featured the Deadly Syndrome and local faves the Happy Hollows, all of whom were caught by the lens of Andrew Youssef. Also worth noting: concession was selling a $95 limited edition version of Swoon with LP/cd/stickers/lyric sheets, and photos. So you know, there's money to be made in music yet.
