Chicagoan Marc Hellner's analog synth-pop project Pulseprogramming is about to release the romantic, airy, especially human-sounding 9-song, 40-minute Charade is Gold 12". Things get even prettier and more intimate via this video the album's producer Joshua Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv) shot for lead track (and April Mixed) "First They Fire," a song sung by new contributor Chanel Pease. It looks like they were hanging out wherever Tamaryn did her photography for The Waves, a coincidence that works on a number of levels.
