Phoenix launched their tour last night at the Spex Festival at Berlin's Berghain. Today DFA-affiliated New Yorkers Holy Ghost! offer up a remix of Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix's next single "Lisztomania." Because Phoenix haven't been remixed enough. Much like LA DJs Classixx hollowed-out dance-floor take, Holy Ghost! turn down the catchy guitar part in favor of additional synthesizers and percussion. It's more fun than the last reworking, but guys: With those six-strings in place, you're already halfway to the disco.

This will be on the forthcoming "Lisztomania" remix EP along with the aforementioned Classixx cut and one by Der Die Das.
