Realizing, depending on where you're standing, this could also be Lee Hazlewood featuring amiina. Regardless, it's a gorgeous, cooing spoken dream piece about a a sunless island, a volcano, snow eating, and some girl with a gift, wandering. When those horns from amiina's rise behind Hazlewood's gruff sleepytime tale? We keep thinking of the Grinch mashing up with Sigur Rós ... that narration and strings, those snowshoes made for walking...

This was Hazlewood's final recording, before he died of kidney cancer on 8/4, and it'll be released as a single 12/17. The whole inner sunshine and love theme is maybe a bit too sweet, but when you consider he recorded it a month or so before his death, and he was in incredible pain, the cheesiness dissipates and it becomes ... almost unbearably beautiful.
