Memoryhouse's The Years EP is getting re-recorded, re-mixed, re-mastered, and re-released via the estimable Sub Pop label, and it is compliments of that organization that the Ontario duo set forth the newly added "Modern, Normal." They are still intensely chill, shooting dreamy reverbed vocals through amniotic effects. Key evocative lyrics: "longing," "cascading," "sleeping," "ah-ah-ah-ah." Key mood for consumption: doe-eyed and romantic, looking for a candle.
