Eclectic Johannesburg, South Africa psychedelic/progressive rock quartet BLK JKS released the Mystery EP on Secretly Canadian in early March and have a full-length, After Robots, due on the same label this fall. The nine-track collection was produced by the Secret Machines' Brandon Curtis in Bloomington, Indiana, who does a great job capturing the howling guitars. See, for example, frenetic, horn and group vocal-lined opener"Molalatladi," translated "Rainbow."
