"Apart"'s brief, high-pitched spectral thump goes well with WANDER / WONDER's darkly beautiful lead track "Oh, Why." As should be expected: Balam Acab's Alec Koone has an acute compositional sense and an impressive ability to curate and control his details. Like the silence that opens this one:
