The forthcoming double-disc album Flumina is a team-up between two titans of arted-up ambient music: Christian Fennesz, from Austria, and Ryuici Sakamoto, from Japan. For the album, Sakamato recorded 24 different improvisational piano pieces in 24 different keys, and then sent them to Fennesz, who reworked them with his usual evocative-reverb style.
