Matt LeMay is the former frontman of the New York indie band Get Him Eat Him; he's also a music critic and a guy I know a little bit. LeMay has just released his first single, and Nick Sylvester, Mr. Dream's drummer and a great friend of mine, recorded it alongside LeMay. Both of the songs on the single are streaming below. "A Portrait Of The Man" is a jumpy, Ted Leo-esque power-pop song, and "What Would Change" is a tender, slowed-down joint. Both songs are totally good.
