Nick Cave announced that Grinderman is splitting up at the Meredith Music Festival in Australia. Via The Guardian:
Cave told the 12,000 strong crowd "That's it for Grinderman. It's over," before apparently adding "See you all in another ten years when we'll be even older and uglier."
For a bunch of older, weathered rock dudes, they could be pretty ferocious in their bluesy, licksy rock. Salute.
