The budget is low, and the acting, especially on the part of the titular attorney character, is mostly terrible. But the video for Memphis rap folk hero's story-song "Lawyer" is still a fun watch because it tries hard to bring the tension and fatalism of the drug-bust narrative to cinema-verite life. Also, "Lawyer" is a very good rap song. Watch the video below.
