Last month, Wild Flag stepped on the Letterman stage to blaze through "Romance," delivering one of our favorite late-night performances of the year. And on Friday night, it was NBC's turn, as the band swung through to visit Carrie Brownstein's fellow Lorne Michaels beneficiary Jimmy Fallon. On the show, the band played a tough, sinewy version of "Short Version," and Mary Timony displayed an uncanny ability to look bored while shredding her guitar neck Angus Young-style. Watch it below.

Wild Flag's excellent self-titled album is out now on Merge.
