According to tracks like "Nuclear Seasons," UK singer Charli XCX delivers sticky, indelible hooks laid onto gothic-shading synth pop tracks. It's no surprise that "Stay Away" works in a very similar way; based on the people voting in it, I definitely think the song will have a strong showing on the forthcoming Pazz & Jop poll put out by the Village Voice.
