Conceptual art-music frighteners Xiu Xiu have released the video for "Hi," their new fraught-synthpop single, and it's a frantic jumble of the sort of disconnected, often vaguely disturbing imagery you'd expect from Jamie Stewart and co.: Toys being set on fire, Stewart biting apples off of trees, lyrics scrawled in bathroom stalls. Somehow, nothing in it scans as NSFW, but that doesn't mean you want your supervisor staring over your shoulder while it's playing. Stewart and David Horvitz direct. Watch it below.
