We've already heard, and rendered judgement on, "Tattoo," the first single from the forthcoming Van Halen/David Lee Roth fence-mending effort A Different Kind Of Truth. And now Van Halen have posted a 90-second preview for the portentously titled "Blood And Fire," another song from the album. Sammy Hagar, who never tells lies, has already noted that the songs on this forthcoming album are built from shreds of ancient, unused Van Halen tunes, and this new one is no exception; it's based on the 1984-era instrumental demo "Ripley." Hard to say whether that's better or worse than a bunch of new Van Halen tunes. Listen below.
