They've come a long way: From being just a couple of scrappy upstarts playing a bunch of unreleased material at the Metro this summer, three practically unknown dudes named John Paul Jones, Josh Homme, and Dave Grohl (along with megastar Alain Johannes of course) now have a full US tour plotted, kicking off last night at Stubb's in Austin. And people are actually buying tickets! Crazy. We've been tracking down live clips from their forthcoming debut the past few months, but you'll wanna try and see it for yourself: for a supergroup, they're surprisingly vital.
