Bethany Cosentino's Best Coast, now with an expanded four-person live lineup, used the 35 Denton Festival then SXSW to debut songs from the forthcoming Jon Brion-produced The Only Place. One of the new tunes, "Mean Girls," made the setlist at SXSW's Google Rooftop show on Thursday and Stubb's SPIN event the following day. It's not on the new LP, so best guess is it's a b-side or some other non-album cut. The other two tracks -- "The Only Place" and "Last Year" -- will be on the album. Watch and listen to all three below, and check some photos of BC's week in Austin above.
