Last year, Ryan Adams contributed a new song called "Shine Through The Dark" to the benefit compilation Live From Nowhere Near You. And now a newly recorded version of that same song will show up in a decidedly more prominent place: The soundtrack to the new Judd Apatow movie This Is 40. (That same soundtrack also boasts the great new Fiona Apple song "Dull Tool.") Hear the new version of "Shine Through The Dark" at Entertainment Weekly.
